Hello, so yea, I’m a modeling geek…. And thus this really interested me, so 3 hours after looking and reading about this I thought I’d enlighten you all.
The project is basically a huge miniature world, but the site is actually really pretty.
In particular, this selection window. I like the witty little images which reflect their purpose.

The infographics nerd and the plane nerd inside me had a mini disco party when I found these American Cold War flight manuals. I particularly like the Ejection one - some nice modernist typography and simple charts to explain possibly one of the most violent events a person can go through.

In a bit a continuation from the previous post, I found someone doing something very similar with films as classic book covers.
